The Anchor Will Hold

"Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek." -Hebrews 6:19-20

The old song, "The Anchor Holds" has a verse in it that goes like this.

I have been young, but am older now

And there has been beauty that these eyes have seen

But it was in the night, through the storms of my life

Oh, that's where God proved his love to me.

The anchor holds though the ship is battered,

The anchor holds though the sails are torn,

I have fallen on my knees, as I faced the raging seas,

The anchor holds, in spite of, the storm!

Jesus, made a High Priest forever, is both sure and steadfast. He is unmovable, unshakeable, He holds true and will secure your soul in these turbulent times.
